With this vista gadget it’s possible to control volume level with the mouse wheel without needing to use the vista volume manager.

Vista keeps changing mi mic volume back to 100% could you make the same app to control the mic volume too??

What I would really like is icons for each running application, just like in the std Vista sound mixer. Click the icon to mute/unmute and to change volume just hover over the icon and use the mousewheel. To show the volume level for each icon you could use a radial sweep of transparent brightness over the icon. Do-able?

Cheers. Sorted out a problem with Vista no longer showing the adjustment in the volume levels. Other users with this issue solved it by doing a system restore.
